Hey Jim, It seems like most of the guys on the team are street riders. Is there anyone on the team that rides trails? Are the frames strong enough to withold against a massive case over a 20 foot set? Either way the bikes look sweet and I cant wait to get my hands on one.

  • Ronibus

That bike does look pretty sweet. I do agree with that one guy.. I do get tired of seeing the same 4pegged street bike. Sorry I’m a visual person. Ian shwartz bike is bangin’ too!

  • Anonymous

hey karl how long have you had the odsy freecoaster?and have you made any modes to the freecoaster? NICE BIKE i like the green

  • Karl Poynter

I’ve had the hub for approx. one year. No modifications done to the hub. I just service the hub internally from time to time.

  • greg h

    cut your steer tube

  • Sunday!

Yeah, I know what you mean about the 4 pegged street rider, but look at the US team
    Ian no pegs
    Mike no pegs
    Karl 4 pegs
    Vinnie 4 pegs
    Eli 2 pegs
    Me 3 pegs

So there is only 2 guys with 4 pegs, not perfect, but I think we are varied.
As for holding up on a case of a 20 foot jump, why are you casing? Just kidding! Well which is tougher on bikes street or trails? I am positive the frame will hold up on casing a 20 foot jump. Let me know your thoughts.

Will the frames be available in the same colors as these prototypes?

  • Brent! Sorry I am a jerk right now.

Cases can really only be so large, I think. Say a bmx wheel is 20″ tall, then from the center to the bottom is only about 10″ minus probably 2-3″ for the chain stays. So, we’re looking at like a 7″ case max, if you leave out the drop from a sprocket.

So, Jim, can your frames hold up to a massive 7″ case on hardened dirt?

    I am sorry.

    your a turd burgler

  • Anonymous

My mistake…had I worded my question differently I probably wouldn’t have been subject to a mathematical break down of how to come up short. Next time I will try to be more precise in hopes of pleasing the people who ride park and street.

  • supposive turd burgler

    I appreciate that!

  • databmx

freecoaster is so funny, the reloader run well and this bike look good

hey karl, your off the team.

  • Chris Bryan

I like the setup! The colour scheme looks good and i can’t get enough of more riders using freecoasters. Backpedalling is so outdated! hahaha…

HI Karl and Sunday bikes, I was just wondering if the interlock 2 chain stretches as much as the original. I have used the first version for a year now and it rules, it has just stretched out a little more than I would have liked. I would spend the money on the interlock 2 if it stretched way less.

  • Anthony

Great looking bike there. I cant wait until your frames start coming out.

By the way JC, I think you should have said “No te gusta.” :P

  • Karl Poynter

As with any moving part there is a breaking in period. The Shadow Conspiracy V2 chain has a lot of new improvements and is definitely worth getting.
