Model C Bike Checks! Part 1

Pablo Castano sent me over some photos of his olive green Model C with Plus 4 Morning 24.1 forks and 24umph bars all built up!  Wow, does this look good!  Not sure if its the photos or what, but I’m really feeling the colors on this one.  The cranks and pedals work so well and the green grips work even better.  Can’t wait to hear about this bike in the trails.

    just got back from the chiropractor… if I have any money left when I’m a feeling better, I just might build one of these. … very impressed by the Model-C ! not digging the colors though :(

    Thanks for the compliments, I had a great time building this.

    The seat is an Odyssey Mike Aitken.

    Haven’t had the chance to ride it properly, we had a bad storm and the trails are still underwater or demolished. Should be out this weekend building and shaping, so I may get to ride it then.

    Guess I could do a quick parts rundown;
    Wheels : Odyssey Hazard rims, Gsport Hubs (marmoset front/rachet rear) G-sport Gipples, Dt Swiss Spokes
    Headset : Odyssey
    Chain: Shadow V2
    Sprocket: ODSY Vermont 27t

    Everything else should be fairly easy to ID.

    I have been running 25/10 on my Fit CR24 and have liked it. I ordered a silver Model C frame and fork it should be here on Monday. I can’t wait to biuld her up.

    Look at my silver model-c on this site.You will like the silver ,It is a great color to use some black parts on.
    I just up graded to the odyssey Aitkin 2.25 tires and they are great.

    I am going to run red and black with this one. I ordered the path tires as wheel. Yours looks awesome, how does it ride?

    It rides great
    I have them pumped to 100psi,It rolls super fast
    Best tires by far and makes the bike look sick

    Where are you guys finding the Odyssey 24″ tires — can’t seem to locate them on their website, Albe’s, Dan’s, etc.?

    I got mine local in Chicago.
    Do a Google search ,There are a couple of places that have them.
    I was going to run the foldups ,But I bought the wire beads.
    I ride on the trails too ,So I did not want to have any sidewall problems.Plus the streets of down town Chicago are loaded with glass and scrap metal.
