Waves

I’ve been visiting the factories we use in Taiwan for a few days now and the trip has been good.  Here’s a spy shot of the Wave downtube and headtube from our complete bike frames.  We checked out the factory and it looked amazing.  Even got to see the complete Model C frames being welded up.  Also, we visited the aftermarket frame factory which is working on the new Wave 3, Funday 2 and some potential other ideas.  I’ll write up a more detailed story when I get back into the USA.  Going to leave you with one note, I realized on this trip that all hollow dropouts are not equal.  Just because it’s hollow doesn’t mean it’s the same as a Sunday hollow dropout.

    how do i get my sunday frame to look like the finish of the complete frames pictured above without taking any surface metal off or voiding warranty (in the case of sand blasting)?????

    Gary will definitely be having a frame. We are working on his geometry and specs as we speak. The Ian frame is sort of up in the air. The pivotal post is good, but we aren’t sure if people are still into it.

    I AM STILL INTO IT i just bought a used bike and im lookin for a ian frame….it is cristmas but evryone is out of stock so im hopeing you bring it back

    I would kill for a Sunday with chainstay brakes…c’mon Gary!

    Make a Model D V2 with chainstay brakes and spacing for a 39t sprocket for trails points

    I also like the idea of a Sunday fix gear bike.

    i just bought a new frame …. so excited first one for a long time …
    ian schwartz 2nd wave …pale yellow ..brake mounts …21 tt ..
    so hard to find around the christmas holiday .. but i got it ..so fucking happy ..

    Im getting a funday pro complete but im wondering if the AM migt be better. I heard that the AM wieghs more but I still dont no how much the funday Wieghs

    why dont sunday do the model c style but make it able to take forks like atomlab pimps ? (60mm travel)
    that way they could be more jump style aswell …also put a slammed intergrated pivotal post on the model cs
    personally i reckon that would finish them off
