Sneak Peek: 2010 Sunday Frames!

3/23/2010

Here’s a small sneak peek of the new Sunday frame line up for 2010Aaron Ross’ Funday frame has been given some new features and a watermelon theme.  You can hear more about the Funday frame on it’s very own Twitter page.  Ever since the Third Wave was shown at the 2009 Interbike show last fall, all we’ve heard is how psyched people were for it.  We took the Second Wave and some how improved it’s strength.  Lastly, we’d like to introduce the newest edition to our line up called the Forecaster.  It’s designed with tech street riders in mind.  These should all be available sometime in May.  Check the site tomorrow for all the specs and features of the Funday, Third Wave and Forecaster frames.

    GNARLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Mitch

Uh, what’s with the graphics on the Forecaster? Purple paint with a rainbow sticker? Change the name to the Philadelphia Freedom Cycle or something.
Sorry, just not too excited about the graphics this go around.

  • Leland

    No shaved headtube?

  • muffin man

I don’t like the graphics on the 3rd wave… it’s not Sunday’s style at all, just my opinion.

and the ants on the funday are clever!

and does the forecaster have 5mm dropouts…?

  • Luke

Will any of these frames be available in sizes over 21 inches?

Why does the Forecaster, being a tech street frame, use the non-hollow/straight plate drop outs?

I’m not really keen on the removable brake mounts, will any of the frames come with the normal welded on brake mounts/guides?

I’m really excited to see how original Sunday’s frames are and the continued improvement we are seeing.

Frames are so sick, but I don’t like welds for brake mounts. They should look like Fly mounts. The rest is awesome!

  • kelby

Whats the thing poking out the dropout on the 3rd wave???

  • kevin scannell

    ^^^^^^^^^^
the 3rd wave has chain tensioners built in.

    What are the frame sizes?

  • paul

    Looking for a 20”!

  • Matt

the new funday is so sick! i also think the forecaster is pretty tight too, but the new 3rd wave is kind of a disapointment. it doesnt hardly even look like a sunday. i hope there are other graphics for it!

  • http://bmx-forum.com KEV

    I agree^^

cons- the stickers on the 3rd wave, and the regular style dropouts on the forecaster.

but other than that, i will def. be buying one of these.

im hoping: they will come brakeless (without the hole) and also will have different color/sticker options.
i have a 2nd wave right now and i feel out dated

  • muffin man

^I’ve still got an original wave frame… :) but I like how the forecaster looks, minus the dropouts. And I like the Third Wave, minus the stickers :/
