Eric Lichtenberger gave us the amazing Hold On video last weekend.  It got such a good response around the web, so we decided to do a little mini-interview about the video.  Check it after the break…

What’s up?
Chillin, chillin!!

How’ve you been?
I’ve doing good same old stuff, different day!  Surfin’ and riding all day everyday, haha!! Just lookin’ for néw spots/ ideas!!

How’s Cali life treating you?
I love it here. Good weather and I’m always doing something outside,  Ha!  I hate being inside!!

How’s the surf been?
It’s been sweet! Other then the water being cold, it’s always a blast!

You just dropped the Hold On video on the site that has gotten a lot of good responses. How’d that come about?
Well, I got myself a vx200 camera again! So I wanted to make another web video.  Ha..so that’s where it started!

Is it all filmed near where you live?
Yep, most of the it was filmed in Long Beach and some stuff was in good old LA!

How long did it take to film?
Hmm, about three weeks!

Who filmed it?
My buddy Travis Kiesow and Francis and Dakota!

My favorite trick in there besides the ender, is the 180 between the poles and over the sink.  You almost have to jump through it then 180.  Tell me about that set up?
I was out looking for spots and went to this school.. and right when I got there, I saw that sink thing just lookin at me!! I rode over there and started tripping out!! Haha!  Then I started jumpin it! I was thinking man I can 180 this! Ha!  It took me like ten or so tries to get it, but it worked!!!

What’s your favorite trick in there?
I’m thinking……I’m  going to have to say the last trick because it was my first one ever.

Let’s talk about the ender, how’d you find that? Did the spot make you think of the jump in rollercoaster grind or had you been looking for it already?
Nope, not looking for it!! I was out looking for spots awhile back and I came across it.  The first thing I thought was hop in grind, so I put my bike up there and started trippin out!!  I said to myself, “I think this will work!”  So, I ended going back and it all worked out.

Your leg gets stuck in between the rails at one point, how’d that scare you?
Yeah, it had a weird run up to it.  I didn’t get a good hop then that happend.  Not too stoked on it being the first go.  Ha! It hurt!!

Are we going to see anymore projects in the works?  Maybe a surf video?
Yeah, I got the good old VX, so I shall start again soon haha! Surfing in the next edit for sure!! Yeeeeeeeeeeew!!!!!
