Check out this photo of Kevin Jones riding his Model C at the York Jam last weekend.  He said he can do basically everything on the Model C except undertakers.  If you’re unfamiliar with Kevin Jones then you should go buy the Dorkin’ boxset and learn a few things.  He’s probably the most influential flatlander ever and was one of my biggest influences as rider.  He invented Hang 5′s, whiplashes, steamrollers, hitchhikers and so many other tricks.  Flatland changed dramatically when Kevin and the rest of the Plywood Hoods came on the scene.  Their influence can easily be traced to today’s riding.  So, seeing this photo made my day.  Photo Eric Mitchell.
