Sunday Spy Shot!

2/23/2011

Thought we could show you this spy shot of some of the new 24umph XL bars that we are riding.  We’ve added a half inch to the original 24umph bar height. The dimensions will be 7.75″ rise and 28″ wide with 12 degrees backsweep and 4 degrees upsweep.  I put them on my Wave-C for a test run the other day, I could bunnyhop easier and pop into nosewheelies much better.  Not sure if it made doubles runs easier, but TJ Henderson and I filmed this clip that day.  The testing is going well so far.  Arrival dates should be later this spring and yes 990 mount 24.1 forks will be here in March.  More updates to come!

4 years ago, these would have been medium/tall bars for a 20inch. If these had 1upsweep, I’d run them on my bike. Oh how things have changed…

UGH!! I just dropped bank on a silver custom Model C for a Xmas present to myself. I’m 32 and raced, rode dirt/street from around 5 years old until I was 21. The Model-C was my 1st BMX in over 10 years and I absolutely love it. I only wish I had more time to ride it and I waited the extra 2 months for the Wave-C and these bars :( This black stuff is the s^*t!!!

Sounds like wider Civilian Bars. Love the re-marketing of old(er) products !

The bar’s “box” shape has been adjusted for 24″. It’s not a re-marketed Civilian Bar. All new tooling. Thanks for putting it out there!
