4/20/2012

Jake Seeley has been riding and testing out a new frame for us called the Broadcaster.  This bike works so well for him that we are giving him a signature colorway and maybe something else.  More information coming later, but for now check out all the detail shots of his bike.

    Seeley’s got a beard.?

You sir, are correct. Look at the Hoffman lady luck and bama. same frame. I love matt hoffman but that is bad marketing. Sunday frames appeal to a broad audience of different styles all while maintaining their trademark strength and look.

All sunday frames look the same, the only thing that’s different is maybe the stand over height, rear end length and headtube angle. And that gusset IMO could be internal, plus it does not need to be that big, remove the wave design even if you hit it on coping and whatnot its still going to dint, just change some of the design up.

“the only thing that’s different is maybe the stand over height, rear end length and headtube angle”

Isn’t that the whole point of making different frames? That they actually have different geometries? Look at FVLT, they have 3 “different” frames with the same exact angles and lengths (except standover, which means fuck-all). Why? That makes no sense.

There is a reason why the gusset is that big. Jim had a problem with cracking ht/dt junction welds. He wanted to eliminate that problem and make some of the best, strongest frames available.

Thank you for the comment, but in comparison to every other frames being offered in BMX, Sunday offers something completely different.  I guess you are saying is that you want a Sunday frame that is similar to what other companies offer.  The Conductor is the closest thing to that.

I’m slightly disappointed to see s-bends instead of the traditional wishbone junction Sunday frames always had, and still have, otherwise it looks great.
