    Wave Down Tube

Down tube dents are common with our competitor’s frames and they significantly weaken the front end of your bike. Our double-butted, 1.45″ diameter down-tube features our proven Wave shaping to fight denting against contact made from a rail, ledge, coping and whatever else happens to get thrown at it. The tighter radius of the waves stiffens the tube making it harder to dent. While it’s not able to eliminate every dent, it will take far more abuse than a non-Wave down-tube. The Wave down-tube adds minimal weight compared to a traditional tube.

    Custom Ryan Tuerck Sunday Bike

Sunday recently teamed up with Fairdale on some one-off bikes for Formula Drift driver Ryan Tuerck (who is also a BMXer). If you follow Ryan, you will notice that these bikes match his car's livery. This was a fun project and we're psyched on how the bikes came out. You can catch these bikes in the pits at any of Ryan's events. Click below for more detail shots.

    Post Weld Machining

All Sunday frames use a mid bottom bracket and an integrated headset. A BB shell starts off perfectly round before the frame is welded, but after welding the shape is distorted due to the weld heat. No longer is it perfectly round, which makes it more difficult to install your BB bearing. It is difficult to install a round bearing into something that is not perfectly round. We go back in after-welding to remachine the BB and headtube, so that they are perfectly round and your bearings fit in without any issues. Very few companies take the time to do this. Choose wisely.

    Primer 16 & 18 Review on BMXGroms

BMX Groms did a great review on our Primer 16 and Primer 18 bikes.  The goal of these bikes was to provide the most functional and easy to learn geometry in the BMX industry. One way we achieved this is by having our chain stay lengths far shorter than the other brands.  We didn't make ours out of proportion of 20" chain stay lengths rather other brands have made theirs way too long.  Other brands would have their 20" frame chain stays lengths a fully inch longer or more if they scaled up from their 16" bikes.  We know that if a kid can't learn and progress then he probably won't be riding BMX. Look HERE to see what 10 year old Kaden Stone does on his Primer 16. Don't forget to read the Primer review HERE

    New 18″ frame prototype photo

If you've been living under a rock then you might not notice that there are so many young kids riding BMX these days.  Which is why did a sneak peek of our new 18 " frame on BMX Groms, a site dedicated to younger BMX riders.  Want to be inspired by young BMX rippers then go to that site. Let's get back to the new frame. It is a full chromoly 18" frame called the Radocaster.  It will have the same geometry as our Primer 18 complete bike and it will come with hollow dropouts and removable brake mounts.  There will also be a full chromoly 18" fork as well. Look for the frame and fork to be available late summer/early fall. Look for Saker Cranks to be offered in sizes for 18" bikes by summer. Here's the geometry... Radocaster Geometry TOP TUBE LENGTH: 18.5" TT (RECOMMENDED FOR RIDERS UNDER 5'5") HEAD TUBE ANGLE: 74.5° SEAT TUBE ANGLE: 71° CHAINSTAY LENGTH: 11.75” BOTTOM BRACKET HEIGHT: 10.35” STANDOVER: 7.5”

    Chris Childs Print Ad

Wow!  Chris Childs is the man with this double wide driveway turndown in our latest Ride UK print ad.  This gap is in Austin, TX and when I first saw it, I wasn't even sure it was possible.  Thought it would be cool to just make it across not do a fully clicked turndown.  Photo Walter Pieringer. Looking for the red Soundwave that Chris is riding?  It should be available by the end of April.  Learn more about the frame HERE.
