Jake Seeley answers questions about his favorite videos in a mini interview on the Ride BMX site. Jeff Z asks the questions and shoots the photos which are from the Swine Flu Tour. He’s been on a tear lately, his Sunday/Duffs edit that dropped the other day was amazing. See that again HERE.
Tom Arkus has a bike check and Q&A over at Fuel TV. We have some extra bike photos of him above from when he was in Austin this past month. Not much has changed though between now and then other than some different stickers. Click HERE to see his Q&A and bike check.
Jake Seeley coming at you with some good stuff. This is one of those edits where you completely miss one trick because the next trick is so good and the one after that is even better. I think I watched this 5 times in a row just to catch all the tricks. Jake’s down in Austin right now filming, riding and going to dubstep shows. He’s currently riding the raw Aaron Ross Funday EX complete bike because “it feels so good”. Look for an edit of that soon! This video filmed by a bunch of people and edited by Mike Mastroni.
One of the biggest adventures of my life began in the Spring of 2005. I started Sunday Bikes and we quickly became known for establishing new standards in frame design. Now, in 2010, my next big adventure is about to begin. I’m starting Full Factory, a new distribution company, that will become the sole distributor for Sunday Bikes in the USA. In addition to Sunday, Full Factory will also be the sole US distributor for Carlo Griggs’ UK-based brand, Proper Bikes.
Thought this was a funny photo of Aaron Ross with the Funday EX complete bike. A complete bike update, look for them to be available in the USA sometime near the end February, but right now you’ll have to settle for the finger bike version. Let your fingers do the riding?
While filming in Austin for the past week, Lee Dennis took it really hard today on a ledge gap gone wrong. It was almost the worst possible crash that could happen at this spot. He ended up dislocating his shoulder, but luckily there was no more damage then that. Wish him a speedy recovery! Incidentally FU3 premiers this Friday!
Eric Lichtenberger has a Q&A up at RideBMX.com. There’s a few great shots in there as well and a prime example of Eric’s quick reflexes in full effect.
Lee Dennis is making a brief escape from the Niagara Falls, Canada winter this week by coming down to Austin to hang out at the new office. While he was out working on an Austin web video, we took the time to shoot some bike check photos. He’s currently riding a 20.75″ Third Wave prototype which has the Wave top tube to help increase the front end strength. If you remember Lee’s past web video then expect some good things from this one. Lee is also waiting on the release of FU3 which is set to come out in the next month! I’ve been lucky to see it and you won’t be disappointed!
Here’s part 2 of Ian Schwartz’s amazing Up, Up and Away section! Definitely a section that will stand the test of time! BMX will miss his unique view on spots, bikes and tricks. Enjoy!
There’s a lot of subtlety in Ian’s riding that makes everything he does look so effortless. His Up Up & Away section was no exception. He collected so much good footage that it ended up being split into two sections for the DVD release. Above is the first section and you can download it to keep on your hard drive or if you’d like, you can download an iPod/iPhone version to take with you on the go.
