We are having heaps of fun in Australia! Halfpipes with no flat bottom, snake runs and old school vert ramps have made this trip so much fun! Meeting kids like Mathew Hughes who owns this Funday PRO have also made the trip so memorable! We are going to Helensvale BMX today and I can’t wait! Look for a more extended update next time we have internet!
The Sunday team is over here in Australia and having so much fun! Yesterday we stopped to ride the Eddison Skatepark in Canberra and watched skaters and bikers shred that place Hell even Lance Mountain showed up! Then we went to Backbone BMX and hung out with Marley and his Aaron Ross influenced bike. We are heading up to Sydney today to visit ThePushbike Factory and ride some street. Look for more from the trip soon including some kangaroo bonding session photos! OZ is the best! I recommend everyone come visit here!
Sunday Completes are now in the US and will be shipping soon! Hit up the shops and mail orders if you’re looking for a new ride. If you want your local shop to start carrying Sundays, tell them to hit up our exclusive US distributor, Full Factory.
As far as weights go, here’s the break down:
Funday AM = 26.47lbs
Funday EX = 25.61lbs
Funday PRO = 25.26lbs
Model C = 28.43lbs
Ohhhhh yeah! Here we go with another set of awesome Alex Magallan clips. These were filmed during his stay in Austin, Texas and it has everything from tech lines to big gaps and sometimes a mixture of both.
Thanks to Tom Arkus over at Vinyl BMX for putting this edit together!
Aaron Ross, Gary Young, Alex Magallan, Jake Seeley, Tom Arkus and Jim Cielencki are heading down under next week. We are stopping by a few shops during our trip and here is the list!
Garrett Reeves came by the office to build up a new Black Magic Third Wave frame. If you don’t know Garrett, you will definitely know him soon enough. Some interesting things on his bike are the super tall bars and the fact that he runs a 14 inch rear end to prevent looping out. His bike is super tough, while only weighing in at a mere 23lbs. Look for new Sunday frames including the Third Wave, Watermelon Funday and a mystery frame available around the first week of April.
Watch Garrett ride in his most recent edit: Sunday X Lotek
Australia is the first country to get the Sunday completes in the world! Here’s a photo of them coming off the truck at BMX International. They arrived a day or so ago and are quickly flying off store floors! There’s been great response to all the bikes especially the Funday PRO! Can’t wait to here people’s thoughts on the Model Ccomplete. We are really happy with how all the bikes have come out! Don’t worry they will be arriving in other parts of the world really soon!
Check out this new Seth Peterson edit which was filmed last summer in between his injuries. He has an interesting mix of tricks that range from unique tricks that most people don’t do all the way up to tech bangers. You’ll be able to notice this in this edit. I’m a big fan of the last trick because I can’t do it out of a wedge. Nice work Seth! Can’t wait to see more! Filmed and edited by Kyle Stark.
Sunday is making it’s way down under starting Feb 24th! Aaron Ross, Gary Young, Alex Magallan, Jake Seeley, Tom Arkus and Jim Cielencki will be driving on the left side of the road for 12 days visiting shops, riding street and seeing some amazing skateparks all while avoiding kangaroo punches, boomerangs and great whites. The tour will take us from Melbourne to Brisbane and back down to the US vs Them contest in Melbourne. Shops and dates to be announced soon! Stop by and see us!
Sunday completes are almost here! We’ll have more info later in the week, but tell your local shop to call Full Factory Distro and place an order! The bikes are a great value! Look at the PRO’s parts package, it’s worth over $700 alone and the bike’s MSRP is $655. So, in other words these will go fast!
