Tom Arkus Photo!
07.01.09
Tom Arkus sent me this photo of him nac-nac-ing his silver Model D. You can see his bike check from a month back right HERE. Have you checked out his website lately? If not then go check it out VinylBMX right HERE! Does anyone know who invented the nac-nac?

Looks like some nice trails…. nac nac originated in motorcross first I believe…?
Ryan B.Well, Will Smyth the editor of Dig Magazine is credit with doing it first! Those trails Tom took me to down in Pittsburgh a month ago are awesome! Supposedly they had some stuff I could ride! Maybe!
jimcHmm Will Smyth was first to do it on a BMX bike you mean? cause I think the trick was first in motorcross
PA always has some nice trails, memory blanks me but something about the 1201 trails comes to mind? Of course thats was BITD now they are prob called something else.
Ryan B.SWEET!
JEREMY MCGRATH INVENTED THE NAC-NAC. IT WAS INTENDED TO BE A MOTOCROSS TRICK BUT OVER THE YEARS IT WAS ADOPTED INTO BMX.
James!Ok, I’m not saying I’m completely right, but since nac-nac is just can-can backwards and can-can was invented in BMX then I’m going to guess that the nac-nac was invented in BMX. Will Smyth did it in 1986 or 1987. Jeremy’s wiki page even says he was able to transfer his BMX tricks into motocross. Just a thought.
jimcHell yeah!
