This edition of Sunday Friends is an amazing one!  William Palmer is a huge fan of Sunday and it shows will all his Aaron Ross Funday collection.  There’s some classic colors in here: Ocean blue, Fluorange, fluorescent yellow, the Watermelon Bike and now Aaron’s latest the Picnic Bike.  I couldn’t be more stoked on seeing these photos.  Some amazing bikes here!  Thanks again William!  You’re collection is sweet!

Are you ready for the summer!

08.12.10

A week or so ago, Lee Dennis, Alex Magallan, Tom Arkus and myself headed over to Woodward East to flop in the foam pit, ride cement street spots, eat Lucky Charms, enjoy veggie burgers, play basketball, eat cupcakes and flop around some more in the foam pit. We made a street and trail riding pitstop in Pittsburgh prior to heading to camp.  If you’ve never been to Woodward, it’s so much fun and if you haven’t been there in awhile then it’s better than ever. This flipbook is a whole bunch of random shots during our trip.  Enjoy!

Alex Magallan Bike Photos!

07.28.10

After posting a photo of Alex Magallan putting his Funday together on the Sunday Facebook yesterday, everyone was wondering about the color.  We are always lucky to be able to get different/future colors for team guys and this is no exception.  This color is the mint from the Aaron Ross Etnies bike just done as a frame color.  Odyssey currently has a mint kit available and this frame would match it perfectly.  Go back and check the Fu-Caster edit to see a clip of Andrew White riding a mint Funday as well.  l

Aaron Ross Picnic Bike

07.26.10

Check out Aaron Ross‘ new “Picnic Bike“.  As always Aaron comes up with some interesting themes for his Funday and this one is no exception.  He took a watermelon green Funday, Space Bars and Director Forks then added in some of Odyssey’s Fire Engine Red kit plus white/tanwall Aitken tires.  This is also the bike that he will be riding during X Games later this week.  What more can you say?  Photos by Devon Hutchins.

Two for one!

07.09.10

For this Friday, I have a Sunday Friends and a Flashback Friday all in one post!  Steve Cedro sent me photos of his OG Sunday frame from 2006!  This is the original metallic green with the original Spotlight graphics almost fully intact!  When this frame came out, there were so many features that differentiated it from the other company’s frames at the time.  Slowly our features have been adopted by other companies, but Sunday frames are still the only one using Odyssey’s proven 41 Thermal heat-treating process.  Our hollow dropouts do NOT use investment casting, we use the same proven manufacturing method that riders around the world have enjoyed for the past 4 years.  There is a difference!

As the art director for Odyssey, Jim Bauer has been know for some unique paint jobs on his bike including the Pink Bike, Tile Bike, Lightning Bolt Bike, Shiny Red, Stunt Machine and Model C.  This is Jim’s new Third Wave in a stock color, but with not so stock parts.  There are 4 non-stock parts on his bike, can anyone tell me what they are?  Learn how to do a unique paint job on your bike with Jim Bauer on the Daily Habit.  Also, check out one of his first bike checks and notice the stem cover?

Introducing Victory Bars!

06.15.10

Here are some photos of our new bars called the Victory bars.  These dimensions might seem familiar because the Victory bars are the new name for the Forumph bars.  There was some confusion with the name being so close to the Triumph bar, so we decided to change the name away from -umph that is common between both bars.  We did however keep the naming theme.  So, if you’re not quite ready to make the jump up to the ultra tall bars of today, but still need to go higher than 8″ then these are the ones for you.

Rise:    8.32″
Width:  28″
Backsweep:   12 deg
Upsweep:       4 deg
Weight:          1 lb 10 oz
Colors:  Black Magic, white, watermelon green and purple
Features: 41-Thermal heat-treating

The Two Sides of Reed Stark’s Bike

06.14.10

Team Dilly is represented again on the Sunday site with Reed Stark’s new Third Wave frame.  Reed’s bike is sort of two sided with one side having a huge Team Dilly sticker and the other having the Third Wave’s stickers.  Reed has been killing it lately, he won best trick and took second at the Verge Music Festival Jam a few weeks ago.  He’s got some big plans this summer and I can’t wait to see the results!
