From the snowy city of Buffalo, New York, he brought a different view on bike tricks sometime around 2000. Known for handrail tricks and his popular pedal design, Jim started a skate/BMX shop called Sunday as well as this bike company in 2005. In 2008 after a ankle surgery and an arm injury, he sold off his side of the shop to concentrate full time on the bike company as well as get back to riding.
